The Truth About Gold Fever Miami & Its New Alias

If you’re considering doing business with Gold Fever Miami, Golden Stamp Jewelers, or its founder Roberto Demoya, think twice. This website exists for one reason: to expose the fraudulent practices of this company and its owner, who has scammed multiple victims, including myself, out of thousands of dollars.

Gold Fever Miami has recently rebranded as Golden Stamp Jewelers, likely in an attempt to escape the mounting complaints and negative reputation they have built. However, changing a name does not erase the fraudulent activities that have left many customers without their gold or their money.

This is my story—and I am not alone. If you’ve been scammed by Roberto Demoya or his companies, I encourage you to contact me and join others in taking legal action.

Who Is Roberto Demoya?

Roberto Demoya, also known as “Chino”, is the owner of Gold Fever Miami (now Golden Stamp Jewelers). What’s shocking is that he has also worked for the police department, despite having a history of fraud and unethical behavior.

If law enforcement would not be proud to have a scammer in their ranks, why should you trust him with your hard-earned money?

How I Was Scammed for $21,325.40

The Purchase

In September 2021, I decided to treat myself for my 40th birthday by purchasing two solid gold chains:

Total paid: $21,325.40

How the Scam Worked

  1. I made a payment of $14,370 to Gold Fever Miami
  2. I also paid $6,955.54 to CMG Links, a reputable competitor, to produce one of the chains.
  3. The chain from CMG Links was shipped via FedEx to Gustavo Villalobos at this address:
241 East 41 Street, Hialeah, FL 33013, USA
  4. Roberto Demoya (Chino) was supposed to consolidate the two chains and ship them to me overseas.
  5. I never received anything. No chains, no refund.

Three Years of Fake Promises

Since then, I have been chasing him for a refund every few months via WhatsApp. Each time, he makes fake promises and empty commitments. He even suggested refunding me in $500 monthly installments over 40 months—a commitment he never followed through on.

I am tired of being scammed, and I will not let this go unpunished.
My goal is to shut down his business and prevent him from defrauding others.
